Love Letter #246

You were a colorful chameleon

sticking out your tongue to taste

blending into the environment

appearing like you belonged

depending on your mood

but I saw who you truly were

a thirsty, blood sucking fool

who took advantage of my empath spirit

and my old feelings for you.

I woke up to the truthfulness

that I was originally

blinded to.

Just because you think you’re slicker than I

doesn’t mean you’re smarter than I.

      1. Yes! I can completely understand. It allows for a sense of clarity of what they taught you and just how much your husband loves you💗💗
