Love Letter #35

In college I was known as the bad girl

my body and my mind so tight

feeling myself, feelin alright

my personality was filled with desire

making all the boys burning from my youthful fire

Many men came and went into the night

Just wanted to find a boy who would fight

For my love

I was known as the bad girl

But I just needed love too

Like how LL Cool J would sing to you

I just wanted a man who would give me soft kisses and held me tight

Snuggled up beside me telling me it’s “Going to be alright”

I was known as the bad girl

I was lost and trying to find my path

I didn’t know all the loves wouldn’t last

Broke my heart too many times

With Fuck boys with no monetary dime

I was known as the bad girl

But I was a girl who just wanted a man to make me

his world

I was known as the bad girl

but as any bad girl

I used to be a good girl too

The “Love Letters” Series will be a collection of poetry written for and about love. Please comment below if you’re enjoying my thoughts and words. Some of these poems can be read as “Spoken Word” or a “Rap Song” or with a “Taylor Swift” angst, lol. – Peace and Love
