Love Letters (Poetry), Poetry

Love Letter #16

Your feelings start to attach to the wall like paint

You seek shelter from the thunderous storm

Hiding in place for hibernation

Until you bury your desires

Deep inside your honeycomb

Spooning familiar ground

In your current habitat

Until the flowers bloom once again

The wolf howls

It’s back to hunting season

I know I will spot you again

In my messages

With your “Hello. How you doing?”

Ready to taste my nectar again.

The “Love Letters” Series will be a collection of poetry written for and about love. Please comment below if you’re enjoying my thoughts and words. – Peace and Love
